This trek, offering an overview of two different aspects of Bolivia, will please those who desire, through trekking, to discover the country’s different facets.
The trek begins in the Zongo Valley, at the heart of the Cordillera of the Andes. A rocky and arid world dominated by peaks culminating at over 6000 meters above sea level and where wildlife, even though prolific, hides from human presence.
For 3 days we hike along high-altitude valleys, before descending in the deep and lush valleys of the Yungas.
On the sixth day, we reach the charming village of Coroico, a haven of peace, inviting relaxation, where we enjoy a well-deserved rest in the balmy climate before returning to La Paz. |
